When creating and designing the dress of your dreams, the sketching and design process is one of the most important steps in making your vision come to life. In order to start the process, our client must have a design consultation with us to share their preferences, regarding the style, fabrics, details, color, silhouette, and much more! Our process is extremely thorough, as we want you to have your dreams form into a reality. If you are interested in finding out more about our bridal sketches, then please keep on reading...
The sketch and design process is most certainly essential for brides or grooms who seek a custom, bespoke gown. If you are unfamiliar, custom dresses are specially tailored and designed for you. Imagine having that unique, one-of-a-kind bridal gown that has been exclusively designed to your personal style... Every woman is unique, so why not match your uniqueness to your gown?
Moreover, after we have collected your thoughts and preferences during our consultation, we can move onto an initial sketch. After our first sketch has been completed, our priority is to ensure all of the client's designs, preferences and details have been included. The client of course will review and oversee the sketches before we move forward, in case any tweaks or adjustments are needed.
Our prime concern is to confirm with you, the client, that everything is perfect, and to your standard. The beauty of creating a custom bridal gown is that you will sparkle and shine like no one else. The dress has been made to you (and not the other way round)! You will of course have the chance to be on this journey every step of the way. This custom piece will belong to you and no one else!
The sketching process is also a fantastic way for our client's to imagine the gown or garment on them before it has been made! We are able to draw an outline of your body shape and figure adorned with the custom piece, allowing you to envision the look.
Details mean everything when it comes to developing your dream wedding piece. Real crystals, sequins, fabric or other jewels can even be added onto the sketch to help our client visualize what the final product will look like.
*We just love collaborating with our gorgeous clients, and hearing your ideas!*
